A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the older damaged top layers and promote skin renewal . The procedure can correct sun damaged skin, reduce skin irregularities, promote skin tightening, and result in an overall smoother appearance - or as some like to describe it a "glow".
